As pennies dwindle, foster children get caught in pinch
For about five years, she's dreamed of the day a nice couple would come around, smile with outstretched arms and say, "Come home with us."
"I want a nice family, people I could talk to and stuff like that, and kids my age to play with and get along and go out and hang out," Katheryne says.
