An Edmonton foster mother accused of killing a three-year-old boy in her care is not “some sort of monster” and should be found not guilty.
That’s what defence lawyer Brian Beresh told a jury this morning during closing arguments in the city woman’s Court of Queen’s Bench second-degree murder trial.

ReplyDeleteAnyone who is WITNESSED to leave a toddler in a cold garage over-night without a stitch of clothes beyond a diaper is both dangerous and nuts!
Furthermore, to report the injury as self-inflicted and then change the story to say the child fell when being held is an obvious deceit of truth concocted. Mechanisms of injury that change is a strong signal of abuse!
