  1. Perhaps my thinking is Bass-Ackwards, but...

    1) Supposedly a human life is invaluable, yet child protection agencies don't seem to have a problem with a few of the children they are in charge of, winding up dead. Whooops...we didn't see THAT coming! We goofed! We'll get it right next time.
BUT HEYYYY...that's 1.5 MIL...we need to prosecute, and make an example of such criminals!

    2) Exactly HOW is someone supposed to come up with 2.4 Mil while incarcerated for 17 years???
Lemme guess...she can write a book on the abuses going on within the system?
I don't condone this supervisor for this fradulent behaviour, and YES she should be punished...I just think we need this kind of reaction every time it involves an innocent child, instead of just when an agency realizes they've been ripped!
