Alta. foster mom accused of killing child used harsh discipline, court hears
A foster mother accused of murder made a three-year-old boy stand in the corner for hours and once put him in a cold garage to keep him from waking her children with his cries, another foster child testified Monday.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named because she was a ward of the province, lived with the accused and the young boy for 19 days in January 2007 before she was asked to leave the home for being disruptive.
