Ark. woman arrested in foster child's death

Ark. woman arrested in foster child's death

A Eudora woman has been arrested on a battery charge in the death of her 22-month-old foster daughter. The girl, Keyundra Smith, was 1 of 4 foster children who died in a recent two-month period. The Arkansas State Police and the state Human Services Department have been investigating the deaths. Thirty-5-year-old Eleisha Sykes was out on bond after her arrest on a first-degree battery charge in Keyundra's May 28th death. An arrest affidavit says the toddler died of apparent brain injuries consistent with "shaken-baby syndrome." Keyundra also had bruises on her sides, back, buttocks and legs.

God Bless baby Keyundra and have mercy on her soul. This was very sad what happened and the woman that caused her pain should burn in hell!
