Shameful blight
Imagine your eight-year-old son is kidnapped from his family in rural Manitoba, is taken to an undisclosed location -- a work farm, where young kids and teens are beaten and used as slave labour -- and is not seen again until he's an adult.
The kidnappers are child and family service agents.
The farm operator is a private owner of a work camp -- ostensibly a "group home" for trouble boys -- but in reality a prison where backbreaking labour is extracted from petrified children who are beaten into submission.
