Foster child: DCF should better prepare foster children for adulthood

Gonzalez never knew her biological mother. From when she was 6 months old to beyond her 21st birthday in November, the state's foster care system run by the Department of Children and Families has provided for her, placing her in 10 to 15 homes and monitoring her progress as an adult.

    They let many of them die or be tortured each year in "care" why would anyone be surprised that they aren't prepared to leave that care!
