DCF Employee Screening
Florida's Department of Children and Families finished screening thousands of agency employees, including checking criminal backgrounds and verifying references.
As a result of this initiative, two employees were fired, although DCF didn't release details about those incidents. However, officials said those employees worked in food service and not with children.
