Criminal abuse charges were dismissed Friday against a Madison County father accused of leaving his two-year-old son in the sun too long earlier this month.
This was after much criticism, because in the same State, 1 county away, a daycamp let two toddlers of the same age get equally bad sunburns w/o legal or verbal sanctions...yet a PARENT loses rights to his child & faced jail time in this matter, public outrage won out this time. I am GLAD to hear it because all of our parents would have been in jail for letting that happen to us as kids!
