"We were convinced he was going to attack us four separate times over the weekend," Sanborn told Police Chief Alex Scott and the three Claremont police commissioners: Marty Davis, Jerry Cross, and Richard McClintock. "DCYF (Department of Children, Youth, and Families) came and removed the individual and found a new placement for him, but in the meantime we were very worried one of us would be assaulted ... it was very serious. I didn't go to work today (Monday) because I didn't want to leave my family alone with this person."
