It happened on a Sunday, and although the bank was closed, my bank offers 24-7 customer support. I was thus able to block the transactions prior to them hitting my bank account.<br /><br />Both PayPal and my bank were wonderful to deal with through this, and I incurred no losses to my account. Are you certain they used your iTunes account or did they create a new one and use Apple's PayPal link to charge your account?
