The death of an infant boy who died Sunday while in foster care with the Forsyth County Department of Social Services remains under investigation, though a preliminary autopsy did not reveal anything suspicious in the child’s death.

I have to provide an update on the Luke's Army Facebook Group Hijacking.  You can view the original announcement here.

What we already know...

The Facebook group Luke's Army, an Australian Support Group for families dealing with Child Welfare issues, with over 14,000 members is currently being held hostage in an archived state and is only being opened occasionally long enough for the person in control to spew a little crap against members, past admin and the groups founder Michael Borusiewicz aka Luke's Dad.

The current admin who goes by the name of Davidson Shannon Kyle is claiming that this is  at the request of the family of Little Luke Borusiewicz who was murdered in 2009 at the age of 2 while in the Australian Foster Care System.  However, the page was made in Luke's honor by his father and Luke's memory will stay alive one way or another.

The group was opened yesterday, approx 2:20 AM Australian Time for just enough time for the current admin to post some garbage.  Davidson Claimed the following...

but I really don't want to wast any more time on that since it's all a crock, as it has come to my attention that someone else has claimed responsibility for the hijacking.  This screenshot was taken on April 25th, and I believe was said a few days ago.

I already had a reasonable suspicion that Mr. Aster was involved, but this pretty much confirms it.  

My original suspicion came from the fact that the current Admin of Luke's Army, this Davidson Shannon Kyle person, posted a piece in defense of Mr. Aster regarding Pedophilia claims and Child Porn Charges which I pointed out in the original announcement.  Of course as soon as I made that announcement, another of Mr Aster's online personalities or supporters (it's hard to tell the difference when it's all in the same tone or writing style) has come to his defense on that blog post as well in the comments demanding that I prove the guilt of Mr. Aster.

However, in all honesty, I couldn't give a rats ass about John Aster.  I blocked this nut job years ago. He is one of 7 people who I've blocked out of the thousands who I have had contact with on Facebook over the last few years.  1 of 7.  I really don't care about him or his issues or his legal problems or anything else about him.  In fact, I never would have mentioned his name had he not messed with Luke's Army.

I do care that he  poses as a family rights advocate.  I care that he is messing with Luke's Army which is in all actuality not a move against Michael, but a cheap shot to little Luke in whose honor this group was founded as well as a cheap shot to the people who have gathered there in need of support, friendship and guidance.  

And I care that he's making threats against members of the group.

I have also made my offer to Mr. Aster as he is aware.  I will delete all of this if he releases Luke's Army.  I will remove any discussion about him being a pedophile in any group that I am admin to.  All he has to do is hand Luke's Army to me and wash his hands of it, and wage his little war with whoever on a different playing field.

There is a problematic factor which is impeding progress and that elephant in the room cannot be escaped: The wrong people are at the Child Welfare table. The Panel consists of some members which "have NO background in child care and yet are being asked to make decisions to change the parts of the System that are failing our children and families." (Direct quote from a Panelist.)


Now Publication Bans are being revisited by Panelists. Meanwhile, I have stood at far too many vigils for children murdered by their caregivers. One little child and her family particularly remain close to my heart because both of our girls were harmed in Morinville:

At the memorial for the child which took place upon the Alberta Legislature steps, a mother needed to beg camera-persons to stop recording because of the Publication Ban.

Although another woman killed that mother's child, it was the mother herself who faced 6 months imprisonment or $10K fine for simply paying tribute to her daughter by speaking her name. It was at that moment that I vowed to challenge this inhumane, unfair, harmful practice.

I, myself, was threatened by lawsuit and those individuals even attempted to have me criminally charged to prevent me from speaking the truth about what my daughter endured.

My daughter's name is Samantha Martin. I was the first person in the Province to successfully have the Court lift the ban so that I could legally share the truth. I taught other parents and their counsel how to challenge the oppressive ban.

Taking this right away again would be detrimental to justice and the most disrespectful move backwards one could impose upon a deceased child; to steal their identity along with life!

It took great efforts to move forward towards transparency. Silence is never a friend to the victim. NO MORE SILENCE!

Alberta’s child welfare system is in a state of disrepair

In December 2016, Alberta Human Services formed a 10-person panel to investigate what critics said was government’s failure to properly handle and thoroughly examine the death of four-year-old Serenity, a young brutalized child who died from a brain injury in 2014. The coroner’s office noted that the child’s emaciated body also showed signs that she’d been sexually abused. But the panel’s job goes much deeper than investigating a single case of government bungling and indecision. The child welfare system and the kinship care program are flawed and everyone in the province, particularly the Indigenous population, knows it. Though the Indigenous population in Alberta represents less than six percent of the total head-count, 60 percent of children in care are Indigenous children.

I just have to point this out. North Carolina has had a couple articles come out over the last couple of days. One says that the state is having record numbers of kids aging out of the foster care system, the 2nd (above) is about a bill that would make it tougher for parents to get their kids back from foster care which would probably cause more kids to age out of foster care, wouldn't it?

There is something just wrong with this. It shows that legislators seriously need to be educated on these issues because all they are doing is voting for every feel good program that has the words "Child Abuse" in them with little to no understanding of the issue or the consequences.

Announcement: Luke's Army archived after being taken over by a very bad man

I don't often write about the drama in the Family Rights movement on Facebook, but this I can't let go by.  I have a sad announcement to make.

The Facebook Group known as Luke's Army has been archived by some asshole by the name of Davidson Shannon Kyle who apparently somehow became an admin, booted all the other admins and moderators, and has threatened to delete the group altogether.

The group, which was made in honor of Luke Borusiewicz who died from head injuries at the age of two while in the Australian Foster Care System, was made by his dad Michael Borusiewicz and has become one of the largest family rights groups on Facebook.  The group provided support and friendship to victims of the Australian Child Welfare System.

Although this Davidson Shannon Kyle person is claiming that this is the request of the family, who want's Luke to be able to rest in peace, I do not for a minute believe that Michael Borusiewicz would want this as he created the group specifically to keep Luke's memory alive.  Michael was also man enough to admit that he screwed up.  He never made it about what CPS did to him, but always rather what they tragically did to little Luke.

It is also being rumored that Michael is currently under attack by his cousin, a known pedophile by the name of John Aster, and that Mr. Aster is somehow responsible for this.  Although I have no conclusive evidence of this and claim that I only know it to be a rumor at this point, I mention it because it sounds like something he would do.  He has been known to make a fake account or two in the past and pass himself off as a family rights activist.  He is also an aggressive cyber-bully who will attack ruthlessly and wage war against anybody who calls him out, anyplace he can post to.  Coincidentally, I have been notified by a very reliable sources that Mr. Aster also popped his head in trying to join another group or two over the last couple days, one of which was founded by one of Mr Boruisiewicz's closest friends and allies.  The timing is just too good and so I assume the rumor to be true.

There is currently an effort to start over as well.  Admins will be limited however.

Update: Apparently overnight, this Davidson Shannon Kyle asshole unarchived the group long enough to post somewhat of an explanation for what he did.

In this explanation he writes the following, bashing Michael and in support of John Aster, who obviously gave himself away.  If this is not John Aster himself, then it's one of his cronies.

Oh, it wasn’t called that. Nonetheless, the proposed law would have ended “neglect” investigations of parents who simply let their children play outside, walk to school, wait in the car for under 15 minutes in temperate conditions, or come home as a latchkey kid. If the parents were otherwise neglectful or abusive, of course, the state was allowed to probe. But if the parents simply trusted their kids with a little independence, the worry that they could face charges would be lifted.
