The Times, have taken up this cause,and PAIN had some case histories in an article last week. In one of our cases, the Gentleman involved, had to wait 7 years, to receive his files. I am dealing with a case, where a Mother requested a Pediatric Radiologist reports,and x rays, under section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998,and was told that the Doctor would have to involve his legal department, on using one of PAINS draft data protection letters,and a lot of perseverance, she managed to get hold of the goods.
