Former foster mother to serve 18 months in prison on child-abuse conviction

A former foster mother from Pawtucket has been sentenced to five years in prison, with 18 months to serve and the remainder suspended with probation, following her conviction on second-degree child-abuse charges, according to a news release from Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin.
