'Coerced abortion' would be child abuse under bill moving through Louisiana House
Parents would be guilty of child abuse if they attempted to coerce their daughter into an abortion through threats or by taking away food or shelter under a bill moving through the Louisiana House. The measure was unanimously approved Wednesday by the House Committee on the Administration of Criminal Justice.
