Senate Committee Strengthens Rules on Keeping Foster Children in Their Own Schools
The Senate committee considering a rewrite of the No Child Left Behind education bill approved an amendment this afternoon that would require school districts to work to ensure that foster children can remain in their home schools, if they want to and it’s in their best interest.
