Cape Fear Valley verdict may spur hositals to change their policies on abuse reporting
A $25 million jury decision levied Tuesday against Cape Fear Valley Health System in a child abuse case appears to be the first verdict of its kind in North Carolina, said Lou Patalano, the general counsel and vice president of legal services at the Fayetteville hospital.
