We Are FINALLY Adopting our Foster Boy!!!
Then we received the call that he would be moving in with a family member.
We decided to fight the system.
Note: Another foster blog. Isn't it just wonderful? A foster parent fights the system to keep the kid out of the family and gets to keep him all to herself? And with absolutely no empathy for the real family whatsoever.
Oh well. Who cares as long as she's happy? Right?
I'm so sorry that you misunderstood my post about the adoption of our Lil Bit.
ReplyDeleteWhat you may not realize is that Lil Bit's mother opposed her baby going to live with relatives. She actually asked if we would fight to keep Lil Bit. We also have a semi-open adoption with his birthmother.
Our journey to adopt Lil Bit is unique. We've had 5 other foster children that have moved on. 3 were adopted by relatives and are very happy, as are we.
