Not everyone in scouting is a sexual abuser scouting is a great organization . It helped my children a lot it tells kids they can when school doesn't always do that and if you work you can become a eagle scout one of my kids is a eagle scout .I am sorry what happened to you happened but the majority of the people working in scouting are good people who love kids and do a lot of good .
If I were you I won't want to take the money away from kids who might need it to stay scouts .
My son had a scout master who was a mailman in a poor neighborhood and he supported scouts by collecting papers from neighbors . The scouts only paid ten cents a week to be a scout in the 1970 the rest was covered by the paper drive this man had 5 of he's own kids owrked long hours and still was able to help hundreds of at risk youth grow up to be good citizens for around 30 years .
Same with Catholic Priests.
