Child torture: Adoptive parents ordered to prison for child abuse
A judge Monday sentenced an Altamonte Springs mother to 11 1/2 years in prison for spanking a 9-year-old boy and his 6-year-old sister - children she had just adopted - so often and so hard that she left them bruised and bloody.
