DCYF to investigate teen's visit to facility for delinquents
The acting director of the state Department of Children, Youth and Families has launched an investigation to determine why staff at the Youth Development Center for delinquent girls and boys allowed a troubled teenager to spend time inside the juvenile corrections facility to see what it's like to be jailed.
