Newborn Found In Kalamazoo Dumpster
A dumpster baby is in foster care in Kalamazoo this morning, but it was sheer luck that averted a tragedy. A man searching for cans in one of the large trash bins at Millcreek Apartments just off Drake Road in Oshtemo last evening, found the newborn in a bloody blanket, the umbilical cord still attached. They believe the child may have been there a few hours. The story might have been quite different if the man had decided not to go check the dumpster last night.
