Court Rules Against Cherokee Nation In Indian Child Welfare Case
The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled against the Cherokee Nation in Nielson v. Ketchum, a case involving a newborn granted temporary citizenship in the tribe in 2007 in accordance with the Cherokee Nation Citizenship Act.
