Ombudsman: State workers made mistakes in Holland case (report attached)
The actions taken by state child protection workers in Jackson and Ingham counties failed to protect slain 7-year-old Ricky Holland, who was killed by his mother, according to a report released Friday from the Office of Children's Ombudsman.
