Newspapers sue to get Ky. child abuse records

The state's two largest newspapers have filed a lawsuit against the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, alleging officials are refusing to release records of some child abuse deaths and injuries even after a judge ruled last year that such documents must be released under the state open records law.

This is proof enough the state of Kentucky know, had the caseworkers simply done their job, they could have prevented the deaths & injuries of the chosen case records they refuse to release. Why should they care if the records are released, since they are not held accountable for their inaction & gross negligence? They have always been above the law.
