System failing foster kids
Re: Foster care case sparks concerns (SP, Dec. 10). My husband and I had an experience similar to that of the Birds in Warman.
Shortly after retiring from Alberta four years ago, I applied for a job as a teacher's aide at our local school. My resume that went to the superintendent included a description of nine years spent fostering special needs children in Calgary.
