Mother of Badly Burned Evansville Toddler Talks to FOX 7

I really feel for the mother. She tried to do first aid and she called emergency services. Having said that, the news states that the mother had already filed charges twice for the man abusing her.

Why did she let this man back in her house? If he will hurt her, what's to keep him from hurting a child? Sometimes women being in denial hurt their children. I think the lady should get her children back but I think she needs counseling to learn about keeping her children safe from people like this man.

Most of us don't understand the kind of thinking that leads to this kind of abuse. Just because we don't understand it doesn't mean we have to let our guard down.

It could have been worse. There are some women who would have let the child be killed and hidden to protect their man. I'm glad she called the authorities and got her little girl some help.

  2. Love is blind and there is always the hope that things will get better. Some people tend to see the good in everybody, others don't. It's a subjective call. Don't be judgmental.

I have no problem with them removing the abuser in this case, but that kid needs her mother.
