Bond granted in CEO sex scandal
The leader of a high-tech Atlanta company accused of paying a 12-year-old girl for sex was released Thursday from Gwinnett County Jail, despite a prosecutor’s protest that he is a societal threat.

With no job and a severe chemical dependency, the girl turned to prostitution to support her habit, Bryant said. The case initially surfaced when her foster parents caught her with drugs and contacted the Division of Family and Children Services, who made her story known to Cobb County police, Bryant said.
