Foster parents honored by CASA
There are more than 50 children in Cibola County that are in the foster care program but not all of them have foster parents. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), a local non-profit organization in Grants that helps children in court. The group hosted a barbecue for foster parents on Saturday, Oct. 23 for their efforts in caring for children.
Note: Wexler say: " Although CASA volunteers mean well, CASA doesn’t deliver on its self-serving hype."
