B.C. courts crisis: Shortage of judges leaves courtrooms empty and children in limbo
A shortage of provincial court judges in B.C. is reaching a crisis level, with criminal trials being delayed up to two years, courtrooms left empty because there are no judges to preside over them, and vulnerable children being left in limbo for as much as 10 months.
