Oklahoma's Full Statute on Child Custody Laws
Oklahoma divorce law requires judges to take the child's best interests into account when making custody decisions. The Oklahoma statutes also provide for children 12 or older to have a say in custody arrangements, although the child's opinion is not binding. Oklahoma judges reserve the right to change or modify custody arrangements if a parent defies visitation orders or chooses to relocate far away from the other parent.
