Advocates demand transfer of family court judge, observe strike

Advocates in the city went on a flash strike on Monday to protest against alleged misbehaviour of a principal judge in family court. The advocates, who were up in arms against principal judge A S Saiyyad, said they won't turn up for hearing of cases in his court. Baroda Bar Association ( BBA) in charge president Ranjitsinh Rathod said Saiyyad used to behave rashly with advocates during hearings.
