Social Services ex-worker files complaint with state

During staff meetings at the Cumberland County Department of Social Services, Director Brenda Reid Jackson has invited unhappy employees to leave the county payroll and dared them to sue, some employees say.

Charolettee Hope hasn't sued. But the former forensic child-abuse investigator, fired by Jackson in May 2009 after little more than a year on the job, has complained to state authorities.
