Fight against group homes echoes past efforts, presents challenges
Three ordinary-looking houses in Elk Grove are about to get a lot more attention.
The homes, located on Cheer, Bangor, and Serafino courts are group homes operated by Mathiot Group Homes, a Sacramento-based company whose “focus is to treat teenagers with sexually oriented psychopathologies and abuse reactive youths,” according to its Web site.
