Conn. child abuse report cites ‘systematic failure;’ New Haven among cases cited
School districts and state agencies need to do a better job of protecting children from abuse and neglect at the hands of school employees.
That’s according to a report released Thursday by state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and Child Advocate Jeanne Milstein that calls for sweeping reform in the way allegations of abuse by school employees are reported, investigated and handled.
