Please report suspected child abuse!
Please take a stand. If you suspect child abuse, report it. Better to be wrong than to risk the loss of another innocent life.
Note: You know, it is a tragedy whenever a kid is killed by child abuse or neglect. We all understand this. Some parents make the rest of us look bad. But the last line in this letter is what concerns me.
Is it better to be wrong than to risk the loss of another innocent life? Hmm. Deep. End a life and put the kid into the hands of God or destroy the kids life by placing him in the hands of the Child Protective Industry. This person obviously doesn't have a clue that putting the kid in the foster care system is pretty much the same thing as risking the loss of another innocent life.
I guess you can't win either way.
