County council staff' ditch home comforts to promote Foster Care Fortnight
Social workers and staff from Northamptonshire County Council's communications team stepped into the shoes of foster children by sleeping out in a community centre.
Eight members of staff from the county council spent Monday night in Wootton Pavilion, Mereway, Northampton, to try to see what it was like for a child when they were placed in foster care with new surroundings and new routines.
Note: They should have had the police come and get them and drag them out of their homes in the middle of the night kicking and screaming. And they should make sure their own kids are up so the last thing they can see as their dragged out of the house is their children screaming, "No! Please don't take my mommy away!"
