Among parents with children in the state's child-welfare system, a remarkable 60 percent had trouble meeting basic food needs during the past year. After you spend tens of thousands of dollars on lawyers and hoop-jumping for social workers, sometimes you have to cut back on hamburgers.
interesting and good. i'm glad they're considering what is lacking and what needs to be done. CPS is responsible for the provision of services to their families. if they're unable to help, there's no point in their existance.
