March designated as Social Work Month
Monday begins Social Work Month, as designated by the National Association of Social Workers. The 2010 Social Work Month theme is “Social Workers Inspire Community Action,” reflecting the association’s efforts to showcase the contributions social workers make to their communities, and encouraging members to become involved in consumer education, entertainment-media industry outreach and student recruitment.
Note: So does this mean I should have a little extra fun with social workers this month?
