Haitian boat children in temporary local foster care
The four children who were part of the 122 Haitian refugees that arrived from Port-au-Prince on January 27, have been placed in foster care, as the local government seeks to hammer out a solution with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), to return them to legal custody in their homeland.
