CAS denied funding
Town councillors have denied a funding request from the Children's Aid Foundation of Simcoe County.
The foundation, which is the fundraising arm of the local Children's Aid Society, had asked for $10,000 for a life-skills program that it runs with about 40 teens under the care of CAS in the county.
