Demand for foster parents higher than ever across the UK

Demand for foster parents is at a new high in the UK as social workers in the UK remove an increasing amount of children from situations of abuse and neglect.

Note: See folks, this is what happens. The Child Protective Industry botches one case. The sheep scream out because they didn't protect this one child. Then the workers get jumpy, and the number of kids taken into foster care jumps drastically. Granted, the workers in the Baby P case were severely lacking in that "keen grasp of the obvious" brain function that so many of us take for granted, but... if that's the best excuse they can come up with for taking the child and asking questions later, then the people of the UK had better beware.
