Basic bags show fosters kids that their stuff isn’t trash
When a child in the foster care system has to leave his home, it sometimes happens quickly. Social workers or the children may have suitcases and bags for the child’s items, but if not, treasured belongings tend to end up in large trash bags.
I know when they took our Son away on the old place of safety order back in 1986,after he sustained a fracture,by jumping from the bath and landing awkwardly, the Foster Carers, trashed his fisher price cassette recorder, after leaving us limbo for three weeks,with reference to us not knowing where he was placed.
