Gov. Doyle: Signs Wisconsin's Indian Child Welfare Act
Governor Jim Doyle today signed into law legislation that will strengthen connections between Indian children and their tribes. The bill protects the interests of Indian children and ensures cultural, emotional, and psychological ties between Indian children and their affiliated Tribes.
