We actually had a caseworker fabricate a home visit report out of thin air.

She'd never set foot in our house, yet she submitted and put into our file that she'd come out the house, checked in with the two foster girls we were caring for, and determined they were well cared for, in good health, and surrounded by age-appropriate toys.

Funny how she was able to determine all that from her desk.

I found out about the fraudulent report and threatened to turn her in to authorities for falsifying state files, but her supervisor removed the report and destroyed the evidence, and told me over the phone in advance that she was going to do so.

The "excuse" was that the caseworker had been out sick, was overextended, blah, blah, blah.

She still has her job, by the way, and so does the supervisor who covered for her.
