DCF officials face spirited opposition during detention center presentation
Officials from the state Department of Children and Families might have had an easier time walking into the lion's den Thursday night when they came to the Carousel Building at Beardsley Zoo instead of facing the hostile, heckling crowd of nearly 250 residents opposed to a planned $15.7 million detention and treatment center for girls in the city's Upper East Side.
They can't get that right either... See?
