Mother to Elton John: Please don't adopt my baby (Slide Show)
The HIV-postive mother of 15 month old Ukrainian boy is pleading with Sir Elton John not to adopt her baby from an orphanage. The British singer and his partner, David Furnish, met and fell in love with the child last month during a visit to the orphanage. But now UK newspaper The Sun reports Lev's mother is begging Elton John to drop his adoption plans, promising she'll get her life back on track.

From what I know of Elton John, he is a good egg. Maybe he might see fit to adopt both the mother and the child and help the mother to get her life back on track to care for her child. That would be the right and noble thing to do.
