Abuse of Foster Children with Psychiatric Drugs

I became aware of this phenomenon several years ago when a good friend of mine was interested in adopting a foster child in the state of Florida. She told me “I just couldn’t do it. As much as I would have loved adopting a child from the foster care program, there was a stipulation that I would have to continue to administer psychiatric drugs after I became the parent.” I was outraged! My friend Melinda would have made a wonderful mother for some neglected child in the US. Instead, she adopted a little girl from China. There, at least, they do not fill their orphans and neglected babies with psychiatric drugs.
