L.A. County votes to overhaul oversight system for social workers
Saying a recent string of child deaths, including the brutal beating of 6-year-old Dae'von Bailey, represents a "perfect storm of negligence," the county Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday for enhanced computerized management oversight of social workers.
