Advocates question whether foster kids should be placed close to home

In the case of Stevie Noelle Milburn, a 15-year-old Dyersburg, Tenn., girl who loved soccer, dancing and singing, some facts aren't in dispute.

  1. Local Authority's, have a duty, to place Children in the nearest possible area,where the natural Parents live, but should be using the Kin care clause, outlined in the Public Law Guidelines, before Foster Care is considered.
    Next week, 3 Children, may be split up,and placed with different Foster Carers, ALL IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE CHILD.
